By the time he was midway through his degree at Leeds University, Richard knew recruitment was his calling. From there, everything he did was focused on becoming a top recruiter.
Starting in the MedTech sector, Richard quickly adapted and thrived. When the opportunity arose to move to Sydney, Australia, Richard and his wife made the leap.
Here, he established a medical device recruitment practice for Austcorp Executive, a role that deepened his expertise and inspired his long-term vision: DukeMed.
Alongside his career, Richard checked off bucket-list adventures, including multi-day enduro mountain bike racing in France, Italy, New Zealand, and Chile.
During the pandemic, he embarked on a 70-day overland journey across Outback QLD, the Top End, and the Gulf. These experiences fuel Richard’s passion for balance between work, family, and the outdoors.
